Chester is the founder of BellevueBridge Capital, a family office established in 2021, and is also the founder of PPG in 2007, specializing in M&A transaction advisory with over 25+ years of experience. Chester began his career at one of the Big 4 international accounting and consulting firms in California where he worked in the audit & assurance group. Chester participated in firm’s Global Development Program where he took a 3-years assignment and relocated to Hong Kong in 1999. Chester has served some of the largest Fortune 1000 multi-national companies, private equity, leverage buy-out funds, as well as top-tier VC funds on their investments throughout Asia, Europe and the U.S.
Chester has deep experience in various industries including, consumer products, automotive parts, rare earth metal, education, logistics, TMT, office furniture, retail/fashion brands, offshore wind power, auto dealership, software, insurance not-for-profit, and others. In addition, Chester has advised clients on transactions in China, France, Italy, the UK, the United States, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Taiwan with past representative clients including Goldman Sachs Capital, Baring Private Equity Asia, TPG, Morgan Stanley, Cyprium Partners (previously known as Key Principal Partners), Citigroup Venture Capital, JP Morgan Partners, Intel, AIG, DBS Group, HNI, NTT Docomo, and others.
Chester is a member of the Board of Governors of Opera Hong Kong and previously served on the board of the Hong Kong Sinfonietta. Chester has worked with not-for-profit organizations including the Music Children’s Foundation to provide free music training to Hong Kong’s under-privileged children. Chester was the past-President of the Rotary Club of Kowloon.
Chester is a graduate of the University of Southern California (BSc) and is a certified public accountant in the State of California (inactive). Chester enjoys tennis and is an avid runner. Chester is also an avid violinist and guitarist during his spare time. Chester has previously participated in various marathons in the US and Hong Kong. In his spare time, he teaches violin to young children.
